For any day in this era AstroChina will show you the moon phase and Chinese star signs with their ruling elements. AstroChina is traditional Chinese astrology, the BaZi (4 columns method), to match the western calendar only three of these aspects for each date for the period 1910-2020.
Pros and cons of AstroChina app for iPhone and iPad
AstroChina app good for
for ppl with no knowledge of tranditional chinese taoism and iching theories, this appl is bu....it. NO, this program is so convenient to calculate the date and ones life element. adding the time of birth into the calculation will make it more than perfect!
I think this is a great app, its simple to use and does exactly what it says -- gives you your Chinese astrological information based on the birthdate your enter, along with a short description. Definitely worth the price and useful to start someone talking about themselves. It would be neat to see more in-depth explanations or a reference of the traits in a future update, but as written its great.
Some bad moments
Its nothing about this app. Cheap and nothing about Chinese horoscope! Now I am sorry that nobody can write a review without to buy the app. It is a form of taking your money for free!
Completely mistake! Check the years! Y applestore accepted this software?
The year of 78 should be an Earth year; you have a bug in the program making wood years go 4 times in row. Please check this and create an update. Each element goes twice, yin then yang - starting with metal in 0 years.
Is that what you guys told each other when you sent this app in for purchase? You guys have GOT to get your facts straight!!! 1976 is the year of the Dragon, look it up!!! The Fire Dragon to be exact! 1997 is the year of the Fire Ox as well. Just to get your research started. I was excited about your app at first but now I am very upset that I wasted my money. (I never wanted to be one of those people that said that) Please fix this so I can put it back on my pod, please?
You guys didnt consider the Chinese New Year when formatting this did you? The Chinese Lunar Calendar is different than the Western Calendar which is what seems you based this apps information from. (This app is not the only one to do that, BUYERS BEWARE!)
I know that you went through the trouble of design, the use of elements, colors, directions, weather, planets, and the use of the Chinese Characters, why not go the extra step and check your facts? I just dont get it. Please fix this???
You are headed in the right direction but right from the start anybody that puts their information in is possibly going to end up with the WRONG result. How is that fair to a person who has not really or never even considered Chinese Astrology before. What about someone who has studied for years that had to rethink everything because of this?
Every book I own says that I am right about this. I have studied Chinese Astrology for a long time. I am not trying to discredit you. I am encouraging you to make this app correct. I suggest reading "The Handbook Of Chinese Horoscopes" by Theodora Lau, if for nothing else then for the calendar she has at the beginning.
Every Chinese Astrology book I have and have ever read explains the difference in the calendars. How did this HUGE details get by you guys?
